Our Missions prayer today is for our local mission, The Mustard Seed, with programs to fight hunger and restore faith to hurting souls in Greater Victoria. They operate Vancouver Island’s largest Food Bank and Food Rescue Project, and offer Family back-to-school and Christmas supports, Hospitality programs and services at Hope Farm Healing Centre as well as Church services
They have have asked that we join them in prayer for the following items:
Requests - Continued prayer for: the inner-city and those we serve (walk with as family/friends) who are experiencing the soul-struggle and deep pain of addiction; for our presence and encouragement in Christ; for Hope Farm Healing Centre (for a new vision for healing at the farm); and for the hiring of a Community Pastor.
Praise - For the ministry of the Mustard Seed Street Church, the Love of God is transforming and renewing hope in so many lives in our community each and every day. For the partnerships we share with others and groups in Victoria finding opportunity to serve Christ with us.
Updates - Our fields at the farm are full for this years harvest, and there is opportunity for teams from local church communities to come and enjoy a day of service and fellowship with us. We are celebrating our 50th year in ministry, and we are inviting our community and supporters to a Parking Lot party at Queens Avenue on August 23rd.
