Our missions prayer today is for our local mission, The Mustard Seed, with programs to fight hunger and restore faith to hurting souls in Greater Victoria.  They operate Vancouver Island’s largest Food Bank and Food Rescue Project, and offer Family back-to-school and Christmas supports, Hospitality programs, services at Hope Farm Healing Centre as well as Church services.

Here are some prayer requests from them:

  • We are going through a period of transition here at The Seed, so please pray for wisdom for the congregational leadership to address these changes.
  • Prayer in particular for Stephen Bell as he moves on to a new chapter in his life and ministerial career.
  • We are moving ahead soon with the building of a showers and laundry facility here at the Mustard Seed: Please pray for success in developing the perfect facility to meet the needs of our community.
