This summer, Lambrick’s Missional Engagement Team (MET) is supporting an intern at the Mustard Seed Church!
Since 1975, the Mustard Seed Street Church, has been essential in fighting hunger, restoring faith. They hope that all will not only find help through their services but will also experience the transforming love of Christ and find deep belonging within their community.
Their operations are nearly 100% community funded and include Vancouver Island's largest and most accessible Food Bank, daily meals, coffee, and snacks; Hospitality programs; and a Food Security Distribution Centre. The Seed also offers church services and community building faith-based programming, as well as pastoral care for those seeking a place to belong and grow spiritually. Through these core programs they assist over 5,000 people each month.
The Summer Intern will work with their Hospitality Team and be involved in their Ministry and Leadership building through spiritual care and supporting community members.
