On Halloween this year, you are invited to Lambrick Park Church, where your little ones can show off their costumes and collect way too much candy!
Like last year, the candy-collecting loop will be around the outside of the church building, and our candy-giving team will send their candy down 2m long shoots for your kids to catch at the bottom (keeping it contactless).
We will also be running a sensory-friendly hour of Treat Street between 4 and 4:45PM, for families who would appreciate a quieter experience. Spaces are limited for this portion of Treat Street, so please pre-register if you would like to attend (RSVP below).
There are three different roles that we need volunteers for - have a think about which role you would enjoy the most:
1) Give out Candy - The stars of the show! You should be available for some or all of the time between 3:30 and 7:30PM. Your costume should be warm, because you'll be in an external doorway, and should enable you to wear some kind of nose and mouth covering.
2) Be a Support Steward - The friendly face of welcome! For this role, you will be checking guests in, directing anyone to the washroom if they need it, generally answering questions and being hospitable and welcoming. You should be available for some or all of the time between 3:00 and 7:30PM. Your costume should be warm, because you'll be outside lots, and should enable you to wear some kind of nose and mouth covering.
3) Donate Candy - if you would like to donate some candy to Treat Street, please drop it off at the church office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays between 10 and 2PM, or bring it with you to the Sunday service and drop it on the reception desk. Thank you!
