Today we pray for our project in the Sasiga Mid-Highlands in Ethiopia. We have been partnering with Food for the Hungry (FH) in Sasiga since 2005 and continue to work with community and church leaders to improve the lives and living conditions of the community members.

Here is a recent report from them:

"It is amazing to see how far Sasiga Mid-Highlands has come! In spite of being impacted by a civil conflict from the north, FH staff see the resilience and worldview of families in the Mid-Highlands becoming distinctly more hopeful, confident, and determined to support their communities’ development and care for their own. 
 
 Prayer requests from Sasiga:

  • Overall health of children in the communities
  • Blessing over farmers in this new farming season including more rain
  • For peace and stability in the country. At this time, the team is struggling to operate in certain areas (especially Amhara) as the conflict is becoming unpredictable and tense
  • For safety and security of the entire FH Ethiopia staff while working in conflict prone areas."
