Daniel and Sandi McDougall

This week, we pray for Daniel and Sandi McDougall, who minister to international students and researchers at UVic, leading them to discover Jesus through the Word of God, and preparing them to serve God wherever He leads them. 

Here is an update from them:

We now have four campuses here in the greater Victoria area and another in Nanaimo.

As we look at that potential harvest, we want to mention these items for prayer:

• Praise for our connections with Intervarsity on the Camosun and UVic Campus to share events together.

• Praise for the couple (J and L) who came to faith 5 years ago and are eager to help us when they can (Canadian now, but from Iran). 

• For the students who attend the ESL classes and the student dinners to have a curiosity to learn why we do these things.

• For Christian students who would like to share Jesus with the international student to join our campus club.

• For opportunity to have lunch time gathering on campus. That a place to hold it would become available.

• For someone who could help us with IT and social media.

• For those who feel moved to share in our ministry financially would follow through.

• For Daniel’s health as he is now in his sixth year dealing with vertigo.

• Healing for Sandi’s left hand after nerve surgery.

“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest." Matthew 9:37-38
