Yasmina joined the Lambrick staff in May 2025 after hearing about an interim position at the church. Having just finished her university classes, she was looking for a meaningful way to serve her community and was excited by the opportunity to grow while working alongside a team of people she deeply respects.
Yasmina graduated with a B.A. from the University of Victoria with a double major in Political Science and Sociology. She is passionate about law and justice and hopes to pursue a career in law. She also has extensive experience serving in children’s and youth ministry and has a particular heart for encouraging younger generations as they discover what it means to walk with Jesus. Having been deeply impacted by her own youth leaders and Sunday school teachers, she hopes to offer that same kind of encouraging and Christ-centred presence to others.
What Yasmina loves most about her role is people. She enjoys welcoming others, helping them get connected, and creating opportunities for people to serve God alongside one another. She also loves the creative and organizational parts of her work; a good Canva design, spreadsheet, or detailed to-do list brings her a perhaps unreasonable amount of joy.
Outside of work, Yasmina loves singing, playing guitar, writing poetry, choir, musical theatre, and all things Disney. She is also famously obsessed with dachshunds and hopes to have a miniature dachshund of her own someday.
Yasmina speaks English, French, and Persian fluently and is currently working on her Spanish and Greek.
