Aaron joined the Lambrick staff in the summer of 2021 after God opened the door and affirmed the call through an encouraging discernment and hiring process with Lambrick’s staff and elders.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Ministry from Ambrose University. He and his wife, Chelsey, previously served as missionaries with a church in Hope Town, The Bahamas, and Aaron also spent time serving as a Youth and Young Adults Pastor at a Korean church in Calgary. He is currently working towards a Masters of Theological Studies with Tyndale University, with a hope to complete a PhD one day.
Aaron is passionate about discipling the next generation to become followers of Jesus who seek His Kingdom, live for Him in their everyday lives, and disciple others. He particularly loves the wonderfully unpredictable nature of youth ministry, where a conversation about the spiritual implications of AI can somehow be followed by a competition to see who can peel and eat a banana with their feet the fastest.
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys watching hockey (Go Oilers!), reading, writing, going for walks, watching YouTubers camp in remote places from the comfort of his couch, and occasionally spending more money than he probably should on Lego sets for his office. He and Chelsey are proud parents to Lukas and Vivian.
Bonus facts: Aaron has Ordinal Linguistic Personification Synesthesia, which means letters, numbers, days, and months have distinct genders and personalities in his mind. He also once hosted a live radio show with friends in high school under the very official title of “DJ Ace.”
