Freely Given CafeThis Sunday August 2 As we shared last week, some of our young adults are hosting a café in our church café space, where they will be giving away completely free café-style drinks and homemade pastries. The heart behind this event is to share the good news that God's love, grace, and forgiveness is not something we can earn or buy. Unlike everything else in this world, God freely gives that to us abundantly because Jesus has already paid the price. To help make this happen, we're looking for our young adults to get involved by baking some goodies! If you're a young adult and you've got a great baking recipe, we'd love for you to contribute. Please connect with Sophie G by email at sophiegurski@gmail.com to let her know what you'd like to make and how much you can bring.

Summer Picnic PotluckThis Sunday August 2nd We'll be having another one of our summer picnic potlucks this upcoming Sunday August 2nd, after the service! These picnic potlucks are a great opportunity to spend some time together, whether you're outside enjoying the sunshine or inside enjoying the air conditioning. It's a chance to connect with people you already know and meet someone new! What are the next steps? Well I am glad you asked! To make the picnic happen, we're asking everyone who is able to bring a picnic-style food to share - something that's easy to eat, doesn't require utensils, and is simple to share with others. *Please make sure all of the food is peanut free.* |
