Sunday Parking - Ministrty Fair - Job Opportunity

Lambrick Park Church
Community Life Updates: September 11, 2026
Ministry Fair

Ministry Fair

Mark Your Calendars! September 20th!

September is officially kick-off season here at Lambrick, and there is a lot happening as ministries and groups begin gathering again for the fall!

One of the best ways to find your place in all that’s happening is coming up on September 20: our Ministry Fair!

If you’ve never been to a Ministry Fair before, think of it as a chance to see what’s happening around Lambrick, all in one place. You’ll be able to meet people involved in different ministries, learn about what they do, ask questions, and discover opportunities to join, participate, serve, and build relationships this year.

The goal isn’t just to give you information. It’s to help you find where you might fit in the life of our community and where God might be inviting you to participate this season.

Whether you’ve been part of Lambrick for years or you’re brand new, mark September 20 in your calendar and come see what’s happening! It’s a great way to kick off the fall and find a ministry or community to be part of this year.

Parking on Sunday Mornings

Parking on Sunday Mornings

Making Room for Newcomers This Fall

As we head into a new season at Lambrick, we’re expecting to see some new faces joining us on Sunday mornings. One simple way we can help make their first experience a little easier is by making room in our parking lot for those who are new to Lambrick and may not know where else to park.

If you’re familiar with Lambrick and are able to do so, we’re asking regular attenders and members to make use of the overflow parking at Tyndall Park when you come on Sunday mornings. This will help leave the parking spaces closest to the church available for newcomers, families, and those who may be visiting Lambrick for the first time.

We know this adds a few extra minutes to your morning, and we really appreciate your willingness to make that small sacrifice as a way of welcoming others into our community. It’s one practical way we can make space for the people God is bringing through our doors this fall.

Not sure where to park or how to get to the Tyndall Park overflow lot? Scott has put together a quick video showing you exactly where to go, and we’ve included a map to help make it easy!

Thanks for helping us make room and extend a warm welcome to those who are new to Lambrick!

Paid Sanctuary Set Up Position Available

Paid Sanctuary Set Up Position Available

Part Time Job Opportunity

We’re looking for one or two people to help with weekly sanctuary setup as we prepare for Sunday services.

This is a paid position for a few hours each week and involves physical work such as moving chairs and tables. The schedule has some flexibility, but we’re looking for someone who can work within a flexible window each week to get the setup completed.

There may also be opportunities for additional paid hours helping with room setups for rental groups throughout the week.

If you’re looking for a little extra work and don’t mind some physical activity, this could be a great fit!

Interested? Email Matt, our Facilities Coordinator, at facilities@lambrick.com.

Ministries Are Relaunching!

Ministries Are Relaunching!

September is here, which means a lot of our regular ministry rhythms are starting back up after a summer pause!

Some of our weekly and monthly groups and gatherings are getting back into the swing of things, including Women in Word, Women’s Faith Connection, Men’s Breakfast, English Language Learners (ELL), and many more.

Whether you’re looking to reconnect with a group you’ve been part of before or you’re hoping to find something new this fall, now is a great time to get connected.

There is a list of the rhythms that are relaunching this September, with details about when and where each group meets and how you can register or join on our website.

Kids Church Support Needed

Kids Church Support Needed

As our church continues to grow, so does Kids Church! This year, Kenzie is building a Support Team to help make Kids Church a welcoming and supportive space for every child.

What does the role look like? You’ll join one of our kids’ small groups and walk alongside children who may need a little extra attention. Most importantly, you’ll help them feel included, valued, and seen while bringing a calm and encouraging presence to the room.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Are patient and caring

  • Enjoy spending time with kids, especially our more energetic ones!

  • Can offer a calm, supportive presence

  • Want to help every child feel like they belong

Time commitment:
2 Sundays on, followed by 2 Sundays off. This gives you time to build a relationship with the kids you’re supporting while still regularly participating in the adult portion of the service.

Where we currently need support:

  • 1-on-1 Support: 7 people

  • Pre-K: 1 person

  • Grade 4/5 Helpers: 2 people

Interested in being part of the team? Connect with Kenzie (kenzie@lambrick.com) to learn more or get involved!

Youth Ministry Needs You!

Youth Ministry Needs You!

(Yes, you!)

If you love Jesus, care about students, and are willing to show up consistently in their lives, we would love for you to consider serving with Apex this year!

Apex is our Sunday morning program for middle school students, creating space for them to learn about Jesus, ask questions, build relationships, and grow in their faith alongside caring adults who are willing to walk with them.

And that’s why Apex leaders matter. Middle school is such an important season of life, and having consistent adults who know students, listen to them, encourage them, and point them toward Jesus can make a lasting difference. You don’t need to have all the answers or be a youth ministry expert. You just need to be willing to show up, build relationships, and be present.

If you’ve been thinking about serving, wondering whether middle school ministry could be for you, or feeling even the slightest nudge… this might be your sign to talk to our youth pastor Aaron!

Aaron would love to connect with you, answer your questions, and help you figure out whether serving with Apex could be a good fit for you and for our students. To get connected, either click on the button below which will lead you yto a link to fill out a form, or reach out to him at aaron@lambrick.com

Update For Youth & Kids for the New School Year

Update For Youth & Kids for the New School Year

'Tis the season of transitions! Here's what you need to know parents!

Hey parents, as we look toward the new school year, our programs on Sundays will look a bit different and we recognize you might have some questions!

  • What grade is my kid considered to be this week?  Kids move up on Sept 13th!  Apex (for Grades 6-8) also starts Sept 13th!
  • Elementary Kids: Over the school year, they start in the cafe and then will head downstairs for their small groups.  Kenzie will be near the bottom of the stairs to help you find the right classroom for pickup.
  • Apex: Apex restarts Sept 13th!  Middle schoolers will be dismissed slightly later than the younger kids, so should stay with their parents until they are dismissed right before the sermon.

We would also like to remind parents that even with all the wiggles and excitement of a new school year, unless they have been dismissed to their program, we will need you to please keep an eye on your kids and teens during the service.  Especially while we have other programs going on, or are setting up fun things for your kids for later in their program.
