On Sunday Sept. 6, after the churc h service, we'll be having our last summer picnic potlucks of the season!  These picnic potlucks are a great opportunity to spend some time together, whether you're outside enjoying the sunshine or inside enjoying the air conditioning. It's a chance to connect with people you already know and meet someone new!

What are the next steps? Well, I’m glad you asked!

To help make our picnic a feast for everyone, we're inviting everyone who is able to bring a picnic-style food to share.No need to make anything fancy! Think simple, easy-to-eat foods that don't require utensils and can be shared with others.

Need some inspiration? Here are a few easy ideas:

Sandwiches or wraps, cut into smaller pieces
Fresh fruit or fruit skewers
Cheese and crackers
Veggies and dip
Chips, pretzels, or pita chips
Pizza or pizza bites
Muffins or other baked pastries
Samosas, dumplings or spanakopitas
Chicken strips
Potato wedges
Or your favourite store-bought snack to share!

As we approach the end of our fiscal year, we have a brief financial update to share with our church community, including where we currently stand and a look ahead to the new fiscal/ ministry year. Click the button below to read the update and learn more!

Once a month, our youth leaders gather for a planning night to connect, prepare, and pray for the month ahead. We’d love to have a few people from our church community help care for them in a practical way by providing a simple dinner for one of these evenings!

There’s no need for anything fancy; just a simple meal that our leaders can enjoy together while they plan.

Whether you love to cook or simply love finding practical ways to serve, this is a meaningful way to support the people who pour into our youth each week!

We are in need of mid-week leaders:

• High School Leaders (Wednesdays): 3 male leaders; 2 female leaders
• Middle School Leaders (Thursdays): 2 female leaders

There is no such thing as being too old. 99 is the new 20. It's also an opportunity to grow spiritually as a leader.

• We are also looking for Apex teachers for our Middle Schoolers on Sundays.

Aaron is hoping to have these roles filled by the start of September.

If you love Jesus, and have a heart for students, then Aaron would love to connect and see if serving in the youth ministry would be a great fit for the kids and for you.

Fall is just around the corner, which means small groups across Lambrick will soon be gathering again. As we start looking ahead, we want to do all we can to support a growing network of small groups so that more and more people can be a part of a smaller discipleship huddle.  

As we look ahead, we’d love to know what’s taking shape. Is your small group regathering this fall? Let us know! We’d love to support and encourage you, and if you have room for a few more people, we can help connect others who are looking for a group. Thinking about starting something new? We’d love to hear from you too.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We’d be happy to talk through your idea and help you get started well. Small groups are one of the beautiful ways we get to live out Life with God for the World; sharing life, growing in Christ, and becoming a community where people can truly know and be known.

There are people of all ages at Lambrick looking for others to grow alongside this year. Maybe there’s room for them around your table.

Do you have too many tomatoes? Are you drowning in zucchini? Are you watching your garden produce spoil because there’s just too much of it?! How about donating your extras to the living edge market? Just bring your produce by the church between 3 and 5 on Wednesday. Our team will be happy to accept them!
