Coolers For Campers

This past Sunday, one of our individual missional partners, Julia Hood shared about the amazing work God is doing through SkateLife and invited us to partner with her ministry.

As SkateLife prepares for camp road trips this August, they're collecting snacks, care items, and gift cards to help care for campers and keep costs affordable. They are also raising funds to help sponsor youth who otherwise couldn't attend camp.

You can join us in supporting Julia's missional work by bringing donations to the coolers located at the Connect Desk in the foyer. Thank you for partnering with Julia as she shares the love of Christ with young people through SkateLife!

Looking For A Way to Get Involved?

Here at Lambrick, we often talk about our "Everydays": the values and practices that shape who we are and how we live as followers of Jesus together. (You can find them on the Our Vision page of our website.)

One of those Everydays is #6: All Together.

We believe that the whole people of God are called to participate in God's kingdom work. We all need one another, and we all have something to offer and something to receive. Across every age, stage of life, gift, and experience, God invites each of us to play a part in building up the Church and serving our community.

One of the ways we put this into practice is by serving together. Whether it's welcoming people on a Sunday, investing in children or youth, making coffee, running tech, or praying with others, every role is a meaningful expression of God's work through his people.

So, this is simply a friendly reminder: if you've been wondering where you might use your gifts, we'd love to help you find a place. Our ministry teams are always happy to welcome people who want to serve alongside others in the life of our church.

Follow the link below to explore the different ministries, learn what's involved, and discover where you might enjoy joining in.

Summer Gatherings

We are excited to offer two summer gatherings to learn and think together! These events will be hosted by Scott Anderson on July 23 and August 11, starting at 7pm in the church cafe.

Bring a cold drink and come to engage! Both events will involve a recorded teaching and facilitated conversation and fellowship!

On July 23 we will watch a teaching from Brian Buhler on "Deconstruction and Doubt".

On August 11 we will watch a teaching from Andy Crouch on "Technology and AI".

We look forward to seeing you there!

Learning Toward Truth and Reconciliation

Learning Toward Truth and Reconciliation

July 28, 7-9pm

"Learning Toward Truth and Reconciliation" is a monthly gathering at Lambrick Park Church where we learn another slice of how we can move toward truth and reconciliation with our Indigenous neighbours. Recognizing Christ's call to love our neighbours well, to seek justice, and correct oppression, we also recognize that this is a call to the long walk and hard work of justice in our own country and our own hearts.

Hosted by one of our pastors, Kenzie Watson, each monthly gathering will feature a recorded teaching to help us learn about this important work, followed by a brief time to process together and spend some time in prayer.

On July 28 from 7-9 pm, we will be gathering in the Church Cafe and listening to a recorded teaching from Indigenous Pastor Mark Charles as he speaks on "The Spiritual Price of the Doctrine of Discovery".

Please register if you can! Although registration is not required to join, it is helpful to know how many people to expect!

Our dear Kay (Kathleen) Walker passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 25th 2026 - due to a sudden and unexpected brain aneurism. She was a part of Lambrick Park Church for well over 30 years. Kay and her husband, Dave, participated with the "Zurkowski Small Group" for much of that time. Those who knew her will remember her as always full of life, energy, encouragement, and a good hug. She had an immovable belief in God's love and care, knowing that "Jesus was only a whisper away" (her words). She lived life well for almost 89 years, and is now fully alive in Christ.

Please pray for Kay's four children and their families as they grieve this sudden and great loss. A service will be planned later in the summer, likely in August, and we will pass on the details as soon as we have them.

This Sunday, Scott will continue our summer series David: A Life With God, speaking on 2 Samuel 9. We will also be taking communion together.
