Sunday Morning Coffee Team

Sunday Morning Coffee Team

Our Coffee Team is the reason we are able to serve coffee on Sunday mornings. Throughout the summer, people go on vacation, and it can be difficult to find people to serve coffee on Sundays.

Are you interested in coming to church early and making coffee one or more Sundays this summer? Please email office@lambrick.com for more details or to sign up.

Summer Gatherings

We are excited to offer two summer gatherings to learn and think together! These events will be hosted by Scott Anderson on July 23 and August 11, starting at 7pm in the church cafe.

Bring a cold drink and come to engage! Both events will involve a recorded teaching and facilitated conversation and fellowship!

On July 12 we will watch a teaching from Brian Buhler on "Deconstruction and Doubt".

On August 11 we will watch a teaching from Andy Crouch on "Technology and AI".

We look forward to seeing you there!

Kids and Youth During the Service

Kids and Youth During the Service

Hey parents, as it's now summer, our programs on Sundays look a bit different and we recognize you might have some questions!

  • What grade is my kid considered to be in over the summer?: On Summer Sundays, we consider kids in the grade they just finished until they start the new school year.  So preschoolers stay in preschool until after their first week of Kindergarten. Grade 5s get to stay in Kids Church until after they've started Middle School.
  • Elementary Kids: Over the summer, they start downstairs instead of in the Cafe. There are arrows on the wall to help you find the right classroom (as well as animal tracks to replicate to encourage getting some wiggles out inbetween worship and the start of Kids Church)
  • Apex: Apex takes a break for the summers to give our volunteers a rest. This means middle schoolers should be staying with their parents in the service.

We would also like to remind parents that even with all the wiggles and excitement of summer, unless they have been dismissed to their program, we will need you to keep an eye on your kids and teens during the service. Especially while we have other programs going on, or are setting up fun things for your kids for later in their program.

Learning Toward Truth and Reconciliation

Learning Toward Truth and Reconciliation

July 28, 7-9pm

"Learning Toward Truth and Reconciliation" is a monthly gathering at Lambrick Park Church where we learn another slice of how we can move toward truth and reconciliation with our Indigenous neighbours. Recognizing Christ's call to love our neighbours well, to seek justice, and correct oppression, we also recognize that this is a call to the long walk and hard work of justice in our own country and our own hearts.

Hosted by one of our pastors, Kenzie Watson, each monthly gathering will feature a recorded teaching to help us learn about this important work, followed by a brief time to process together and spend some time in prayer.

On July 28 from 7-9 pm, we will be gathering in the Church Cafe and listening to a recorded teaching from Indigenous Pastor Mark Charles as he speaks on "The Spiritual Price of the Doctrine of Discovery".

Please register if you can! Although registration is not required to join, it is helpful to know how many people to expect!

Mustard Seed Dinner Volunteers

Mustard Seed Dinner Volunteers

This Friday - July 10

Lambrick Park Church partners with the Mustard Seed to prepare and serve a hot meal for more than 120 people in our community. More than just a meal, these evenings are an opportunity to extend hospitality, build relationships, and share Christ's love with those who may be experiencing hardship or isolation.

We are looking for help for the dinner happening this Friday! Whether you'd like to help prepare the meal, serve dinner, or simply be a welcoming presence, we'd love to have you join us. No previous experience is needed, just a willing heart to serve.

If you're interested in volunteering, please register using the link below.
