This week, we are praying for Deborah Morris and her role with Interserve Canada. Here's an update from Deborah:

Happy New Year! Here, at Interserve Canada, we have much to be thankful for as we pray and receive God’s grace. We have a new National Director - Richard Konieczny served many years alongside his wife Katherine at OMF in South Asia, and has now taken the helm of Interserve Canada. We give thanks for his gifted leadership! On January 26th we will be hosting a coffee / tea time after service in the Café so you can meet Richard and hear more about God's work through Interserve! After ten years, Deborah Morris has begun to plan retirement from Interserve, and seeks part-time work locally in Victoria. Please pray for a position that will be the perfect fit for Deb’s heart and giftings. Deborah wants to thank Lambrick and the amazing prayer and mission team who have been supporting her during her work in India, and in Canada for the past few years. Your faithfulness has been a blessing to many who have found new lives of dignity and hope! “Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress … The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.” (Isa 9:1-2) In the meantime, Deborah is organizing a team to cover the Interserve booth at Missions Fest 2020 in Vancouver Jan 31 and Feb 1. Please join us in Vancouver as we participate in and learn about the heart of God, serving locally and abroad! You can find more information at www.missionsfestvancouver.ca. Pray for hearts to be inspired with His hope for our world!
