Meet Kyla!
Office Admin Intern

Hi! My name is Kyla. This past year, I studied Business Administration at Camosun College. In my spare time, I like to read novels or write my own stories. I especially like fantasy, romance, or romantic suspense genres! I also love to listen to music and sing. 

I have been attending Lambrick for seven years now. I sing on the worship team occasionally and have been youth leading for the past four years. Last year, I worked as one of the youth interns and had an incredible summer! 

I was really excited for the opportunity to be the Admin Intern because the job uses some skills I have learned throughout my past year of studying business. It also means I get to work in the church again and spend time with the amazing interns and staff! I am looking forward to learning from Executive Pastor Alana, Community Assistant Yasmina, and our Bookkeeper, Ruth. 

Meet Rowena!
Youth Intern

Hello! My name is Rowena! I have been attending Lambrick for the last 4 years & was a Youth Leader for the first year and a half. I love to travel, and in 2025, I solo backpacked to 10 countries, across 3 continents. I have also spent the last two years working at Sanctuary Youth Centre, serving unhoused youth in Victoria. Stepping into this youth internship at Lambrick is exciting because it means both reconnecting with the youth group, while also learning more about this type of ministry.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Jillian!
Youth Intern

Hi! My name is Jillian Nyman. I am a student at UVic studying Education and hoping to be a French Immersion Teacher. In my spare time I love running, hiking, camping and spending time in the Lord’s beautiful creation!

I’ve been attending Lambrick Park Church since the first Sunday that I moved to Victoria, which was in September this past fall. Lambrick Park Church has been such a great way to make friends as there is a huge young adult community here and I couldn’t imagine my first year at university without gaining so many brothers and sisters in Christ!

For the past 3 summers I have served at camp as a leader and I am passionate about discipling youth and so I am looking forward to being a part of the amazing youth group programs at Lambrick! I want to bring lots of energy, fun ideas and so much truth from the Word to all the youth that are with us this summer.

Meet Jenna!
Wiseways Admin Intern
Hi! I'm Jenna. I'm a third year university student at Trinity Western University pursuing a BA in Psychology and Sociology. I absolutely adore spending time with my siblings (Jayda and Jaden, shoutout to my G.O.A.T.S), playing volleyball, and shopping until the mall closes. I have actively dedicated the last 10 years of my life to the King who set me free!
I have been attending Lambrick for about 8 years now, beginning as a middle school youth attendee and later on becoming involved as a volunteer leader for the grade 6/7 girls. The leadership qualities I gained from guiding young girls to Jesus allowed me to serve at a Summer Camp where I was challenged as well as incredbily spiritually fed. My favourite way to spend my Sunday's are here at Lambrick surrounded by people who know me and my love for Jesus!
This internship is a prayer spoken into life for me. Being a full-time student writing exams, having stress dreams about unfinished assignments, and eating questionable food from the cafeteria —  it was easy to fear what the summer may look like without the routine I had specially crafted over the past 8 months. This internship is a blessing. I am looking forward to spending time with people who were so carefully handpicked to be here and serve at this Church. This internship allows me to flourish in my studies and career in ways that I keep discovering each day.
Meet Sophie!
Kids Intern

My name is Sophie and I’m a third year theology student! In my spare time, you will most likely find me either in the kitchen baking, at the beach, or curled up with a puzzle and a strong cup of tea. I have been attending Lambrick for almost four years and have been involved with kids ministry as a small group leader for three years. Fun fact: this is my third summer as the kids ministry intern! This summer, I’m looking forward to spending more time journeying with the kiddos in their faith journeys and learning more under Kenzie’s mentorship!
