Julia Hood + Skate Life

Today our Missions Prayer is for our local ministry Skatelife, a non-profit skateboard ministry partnered with Younglife. They serve the entire skateboarding scene from within the skate scene, making use of opportunities to share the good news of Jesus.  Here is an update and some prayer items from them:

"Skate Camp went really well! A bunch of our skaters wanted to start reading in the Bible for the FIRST time as they started to hear about Jesus. We were able to closely disciple those who came to know Jesus this past year as they sat and asked question after question in our car rides together. and they started to share their faith out loud with others.

We have been running monthly dinners with skaters to serve them and spend intentional time together outside the skate parks. We also will be starting our indoor skateboard season where we get to skate together and read from God's word together weekly.

Would you please pray over some of our skaters? A handful have lost family members and friends very close to them in recent months and are going through grief. Many battle addiction and mental health issues. Please pray for the Lord's comfort, strength, and protection over their lives and homes.

Please remember our Trivia Night Fundraiser happening on November 14th, 4:30-7:30pm. All funds raised go towards helping keeping Skatelife running: providing indoor skating, running camps and sharing the gospel in many ways!
