Jenn Taylor

This week we pray for Jenn Taylor, our missionary in Iquique, Chile telling people about Jesus and working with Florece - a prenatal & family counselling centre.

Here's a report from Jenn.

"Some good news:

March at Florece was the busiest month we have ever had! We had:

• 79 appointments,
• 17 new clients,
• 7 women accepted Christ as their Saviour.
• 2 clients who have been attending our church plant got baptized,
• and we had 407 volunteer hours!!

The Lord is doing awesome things!

Some not great news:

A week ago Wednesday (April 6), as we were getting ready to open our second location in the next town over, we were robbed at gunpoint in the church that so graciously gives us a space.

We have now begun the long process of healing from a traumatic event.

I am not sleeping well and very easily startled. Please pray for me and for my teammates who were with me. I am so grateful that I wasn't alone and that the Lord has already provided what I needed to be able to replace what was lost. I am also so grateful that the men who robbed us were not cruel or violent. Although we all feel violated in a variety of ways, this could have been so much worse, and we are very aware of the protection of the Lord in the midst of it."
