As we head into the final quarter of our current fiscal year, we have some positive updates for you from our Executive Pastor, Alana, that you will have missed if you were unable to attend our Special General Meeting (SGM) on June 14.

We are all impacted, collectively, by our financial position as a church so please, whatever you do, don’t just scroll by. If you consider Lambrick your home church, we invite you to take 2 minutes to stay informed and participate in your role as a committed part of the body of Christ! 

On July 5, after the service, we will be having a Picnic Potluck. Please bring finger foods that can be enjoyed without the use of cutlery. 

Some examples of what we're hoping for are: sandwiches, pizza, fried chicken, veggies, fruit, chips, dip. The goal is for there to be many different appetizers to share while we enjoy fellowship and conversation. People can go sit on the lawn or at tables inside, depending on their preferences.

There are a lot of amazing things happening this summer at Lambrick. So you can stay updated, we have created a Summer Calendar with all of our events. 

Keep looking at the calendar as it just might get updated with new events!

Come along to the LPC Work Bee - Saturday July 12, between 9:00 am and noon. We can use many hands. Please bring along your cleaning supplies, gardening tools, truck, ladders, etc., to help with:

• Weeding
• Hedge Trimming
• Hauling
• Cleaning 

And generally sprucing up the LPC grounds!

Please register - it really helps to know if you are coming, but it is also fine to just show up on the day of!

During the summer months, many of our regular volunteers are away. We are looking for volunteer substitutes who can help occasionally on Wednesdays throughout July and August. You are welcome to sign up for one shift, several shifts, or as many dates as your schedule allows.

Apex kids and their families are invited to the DeLeeuw's for an after-church potluck to celebrate the end of Apex this year. Please register so they can organize food and have a feel for numbers.

Revival Worship Night is an event for all ages. They will be gathering every other Sunday at Lambrick Park Church. All are welcome to join. 

We would like to restart an ELL Walk and Talk group over the summer months. Firstly, to give an opportunity for students to continue practicing their English throughout the summer, and secondly, to stay connected, nurture friendships and share our faith. 

In order for this to happen, we need 2-3 others to join us so learners will have more opportunity to practice with a fluent English speaker. We plan to meet every other week and are flexible on the dates. 

We will meet in the church parking lot and will walk to a nearby coffeeshop and back.

The couch the Youth Room currently has is old, falling apart, and becoming a safety hazard. Because of this, the Youth Room needs a new couch. After trying to find one with no luck, we are bringing the call to our church congregation. If anyone has a couch that they are willing to part with that is in good condition (and if it's L shaped that's even better!), contact office@lambrick.com. 

This Sunday, Scott Anderson will continue in our DAVID: a life with God summer series - with a look at 2 Samuel 5 and David's first acts as Israel's shepherd king.
