Community Updates
Hello, Church Family! Has anyone else been encouraged by the decrease of virus cases and easing restrictions this last week? BC restrictions now allow you to have one other household or up to 5 other people in your home. If you feel comfortable, you may invite a friend or two to your home to share a Sunday worship or weekday study time! Of course, please consider the most recent safety recommendations, and if you're comfortable, we encourage you to reach out and enjoy some fellowship together. |

Lamenting and Learning
The tragic discovery of 215 children, who were killed and buried in an unmarked mass grave at Kamloops Indian Residential School will have left many of us horrified and grief-stricken. Among us, we will have many different responses, but one thing we can all do is lament. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; (Psalm 51:17) If God is using this moment to lead you to learn more about the experiences of Indigenous Canadians, these resources may be helpful: |

Song of the Week
The Eagle and Child · Radiance That grace is not dependent This week's song of the week was chosen by Tristan Schuh. He says: "Whenever I am called to something new, it's easy to feel the weight of everything I feel I need to be (Enneagram 3, anyone?). To reflect a perfect God as a very imperfect person in a very imperfect world is not an easy task in itself. But thanks be to God, we are not alone in this. Sometimes, often even, we simply go where we already are and become instruments of the Spirit. We are so covered by grace, and we are so equipped to be everything He needs us to be, today and every day. We need only surrender to the gracious flow of the Spirit and patiently watch as the Kingdom advances. This is my meditation for myself this summer working with the Mustard Seed, but I hope to take this far beyond into my everyday until Christ returns." For more infomation visit:
