In Loving Memory of Smita Singh

Missional Prayer Focus · July 19

We have heartbreaking news from Sonagacchi, one of the redlight districts in Kolkata.
Our dear sister, Smita Singh, has passed away due to complications with COVID-19.

Smita is a powerful visionary and woman of God who has followed Jesus into the redlight district to provide refuge through after-care homes (Mahima Homes), and lately has headed up the delivery of food and supplies to the many women and families impacted by the pandemic shut down in Kolkata. Smita was a follower of Jesus who shone with His light into some of the darkest regions of Kolkata. Her leadership and radiant light will be greatly missed.
Please pray for her family and friends as they mourn this significant loss of one of the angels in our world.
