Women's Gathering: RenewedSaturday, August 16, 2025 Join us for a time of praise, prayer, and honest community, digging deeper into God's heart. ELL Summer Walk and Talk Group
Sandi McDougall and Brenda Lee are starting an ELL Walk and Talk group over the summer months. One, to give opportunity to students to continue practicing their English throughout the summer And two, to stay connected, nurture friendships and share our faith. We invite two or three others to join us so learners will have more opportunity to practice with a native English speaker. Our next walk will be next Wednesday, August 6th, from 10 – Noon. We will meet in the church parking lot at 10AM and walk to a nearby coffeeshop and back. If you are interested in being an ELL Buddy/walking partner, please contact Brenda at brenda@lambrick.com |

Living Edge Market Update
Lambrick’s Living Edge Market will open Wednesday September 10 from 6:15-7:15pm. And will hopefully continue on every Wednesday afterward! If this exciting food security ministry is something you’d be interested in volunteering for, please fill out our short questionnaire here. If you want to know more about the Living Edge Market and what this ministry to our neighbours will look like, enjoy this short video.
If you are going to be volunteering with us, we are also inviting you to join the Volunteer Training Day at Gateway Baptist Church on August 12th. This training day is not mandatory but an open invitation to Lambrick Volunteers to watch Gateway set-up their market, ask questions, and witness their ministry.

Ride for Refuge 2025Registration Now Open Calling all Bikers and Walkers! The Ride for Refuge is happening on October 4, 2025 - a family-friendly fundraising bike + walk in support of Sanctuary Youth Centre. We are specifically looking for a Lambrick Team Captain for this year's crew. This year's Ride for Refuge Fundraiser is supporting our local missions partner, Sanctuary Youth Centre. Based in the basement of Church of Our Lord in downtown Victoria, they serve as a safe place for some of the most vulnerable people in our city - street entrenched and at-risk youth between the ages of 14 and 22. Summer Intern for Sanctuary Youth Centre (SYC)
Located at the corner of Humboldt and Blanshard Street just four blocks from the BC Parliament Buildings, Sanctuary Youth Centre welcomes and cares for some of Victoria’s most vulnerable youth between the ages of 14 and 22.
As we look further ahead to the close of the year, they are looking for an intern, who loves youth and loves Jesus, to work part time in the drop-in Program.
