We are thrilled to be hosting Alpha this winter - Wednesday nights, 6:30-8:30pm - beginning January 28th. Hosted by Mark and Tara DeLeeuw, and co-led by Mark and Scott Anderson. Alpha is an 11-week course designed to help you explore the basics of the Christian faith in a low-pressure, discussion-based environment. Each week there’s time to connect with others over a light supper, watch a short film on an aspect of the Christian faith, and discuss your questions with others.

Dr. Steve Mairs is a husband and father, an astrophysicist by trade, and a seminary student pursuing a master’s degree in theological studies. He is deeply passionate about theology, church history, Christian education, and about faithfully bridging the relationship between faith and science. In all things he seeks to testify to the great hope we have in our Saviour Jesus Christ, the Creator and Sustainer of all things.

This Sunday, we will hear from Steve as he continues to share about "Faith and Science."

Join us for a time of praise, prayer, and honest community, digging deeper into God's heart. 

We will be meeting on Saturday, January 17 from 10:00am to 11:30am, in the Lambrick Park Church Cafe. Karla Rudman from Union Gospel Mission will be sharing a message.

This Sunday (Jan 18) we’re launching Praxis, where for 8 weeks, high school students in Grades 9-12 will explore the theological foundations of the Christian faith and how they connect to everyday life. They will be dismissed at the same time as Apex, partway through the service, and will meet downstairs in Room 105.

Women's Faith Connection is beginning a new study, next Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 am in the Cafe, and is welcoming all ladies to join them in exploring God's word together. This winter, they will begin The Way of Wisdom: A Study on the Book of Proverbs. This is an 8-session Bible study, created by six beloved Bible teachers, focusing on everyday topics such as words, work, friendship, marriage, parenting, neighborliness, money management, and leadership influence. Community Worship Night will be gathering on Sunday, January 25 at 7pm in the Lambrick Cafe. All are welcome to join.

Join us for Men's Breakfast, once a month on a Saturday morning. This will be a great way to get to know some other men and build community at Lambrick. Come to enjoy breakfast and hear the faith journey of one of the guys.

Open to men ages 16 and up. Cost is $10 or $8 for students.

Once a month, on a Wednesday and Thursday, the youth leaders get together as a team for an hour of training before youth. We’d love to provide a meal for the volunteers. Let Aaron know by filling out the form below if you would be willing to provide a home cooked meal. It would mean a lot to them!

This week our missions prayer is for Jenn Taylor who serves as the Regional Coordinator for Beautiful Feet in Latin America and the Caribbean. Beautiful Feet aims to spread the good news of God’s love by founding, training and equipping pregnancy ministries worldwide. Jenn’s role is to equip and empower nationals to open pregnancy ministries in order to protect babies and introduce families to Jesus!
