The Board of Elders play a vital role in the life of Lambrick - providing direction, protection and oversight to the life and leadership of our church.

Each fall we invite nominations for the Board of Elders.
If you are committed to Lambrick and what God is doing among us, we invite you to read through the attached documents that explain the vision and qualifications for eldership, to join us in prayer, and to share with us any nominations that you feel should be considered.

This week our missions prayer is for Clayton and Isobel Dougan and their Evangelism and Bible teaching ministry. Based in Victoria they are an active part of Lambrick Park Church.

Kids Church Small Group Leaders

needed to journey with kids as they walk with Jesus

Kids Church is a place for kids to learn about the Bible, explore their faith, connect with kids their age as well as a few trusted adults who will care for them the way the Church should. It's a place for fun, curiousity, learning, and friendship.

And it requires volunteers to make it as impactful as possible. If you are interested in helping kids walk with Jesus, please contact Kenzie@Lambrick.com.

Time commitment is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off-- in order to give the kids enough time with their small group leader to know and be known – to really help raise disciples, instead of just filling time while the adults do church.

Gordon Head Men's Peer Support Group

starts Mon Sept 19, at 7PM.

We are inviting men who want a place to fit in, a place where people are real and don’t paper over the brokenness and the tragedies in life. A place where one can talk, or just listen.

Christmas Play Auditions · Sat, Sept 24

Would you like to audition for the 2022 Lambrick Christmas Play?

We will be performing on Sunday December 4th during the morning service time. Auditions will be held at the church on Saturday September 24th. No one other than the team of directors will be watching your audition. You will be given lines to read so there's nothing to prepare.

Join our Women's Special Event Team!

The annual Women's Christmas Tea is a wonderful event where women of all ages can come together and share good conversation, delicious food and a chance to get into the festive mood! It is a great opportunity to invite friends along for a first taste of church community.

Ways to love our Young Adult Community

Now that the new school year has begun, it is the time of year where we want to extend a warm welcome to young adults walking through our doors - particularly students at UVic.

Here are some ways that you can support our young adults!

1) Every two weeks, we will be having a young adult dinner and Bible study at the church. We are looking for people interested in supplying food for these dinners and / or helping with prep and clean up. If you are interested in serving in this way, please fill out this Sign up sheet

2) Simon needs a 3000 watt generator for a barn party at Chris and Arleen Raper's on Friday September 23. If anyone knows where we might be able to borrow one, please contact simon@lambrick.com

3) IVCF at UVic are coordinating family dinners for students in the homes of Victoria residents.

If you would like to show friendship and hospitality to students in this way, fill out IVCF's Dine with Us form, and they will be in touch.

Bible Study Fellowship

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) offers free in-depth Bible studies in community for people of all ages around the world. BSF uses a four-fold approach to study Scripture together - answer questions, discuss in small groups, listen to teaching, and explore biblical commentary. The upcoming study starts the week of September 12.

The Victoria group will be meeting every Wednesday via Zoom, starting September 14.

People of the Promise: Kingdom Divided will unpack a fascinating period in Israel’s history across 15 books, from its split into two nations, through dozens of kings and prophets and ultimately to the heartbreaking exile into Babylon.
