This week, our missions prayer is for our project in the Sasiga Mid-Highlands in Ethiopia. We have been partnering with Food for the Hungry in Sasiga since 2005 and continue to work with community and church leaders to improve the lives and living conditions of the community members. We are especially pleased to have guests with us representing the project joining us this Sunday.

Stick around after the Sunday service on July 10, for a special virtual tour from our missional partners in Ethiopia!

We will “travel” to Ethiopia and view three short videos that introduce us to the country, as well as some of the children, families, and leaders. There will be an update from Samson Kacha, Senior Programs Manager. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the work of FH in Sasiga, a partnership we have enjoyed for 20 years!

We had a lovely time  in the sunshine together last week. Let's do it again!

Bring a picnic, for yourself / your family - and come ready to enjoy a time of fellowship, whether that is catching up with old friends or making some new ones.

Come along for an hour of walking in our neighbourhood and praying intentionally for what we see and who we see! All are welcome. You can come along once or join each time!

We are nearing the end of our teaching series on the Fruit of the Spirit. Hasn't it been interesting to hear the perspectives of so many members of our church family?

For the last Sunday in this series, we will be inviting a panel of speakers to discuss and dig deeper into the themes that have arisen. We would love for you to share what thoughts and questions you have, to help form the discussion! What has God been teaching you? Which fruits of the Spirits to you find easy / tricky to live out, and why? Have you had any moments of 'A-ha', 'Hmm' or 'Huh?'?

Let us know! We love being a community that learns and grows together!

We currently need 5 more helping hands to keep our kids ministry running well through the summer months - we have a particular need of helpers in our kid-care room, with the pre-K little ones.

In addition, Kenzie is looking for 2 or 3 volunteers to set up and pack down the kids ministry materials while she is on vacation. This would be a one-Sunday commitment, with no child-interaction or heavy lifting required.

If you might have time to volunteer and help introduce the Lambrick tiny ones to Jesus, please contact Kenzie.

This year we hoped to raise $25,000 through our 2022 Campaign for Hope. To date, this campaign has raised over $31,000! And, that number keeps growing as campaign designated cheques keep coming through the mail slot! 

The body of believers at LPC have contributed to this overflow and we feel incredibly blessed and humbled by your support. These additional funds will be used to help us as we endeavor to expand into healthcare services which will ensure that we are offering the most comprehensive care in Greater Victoria to those experiencing and unplanned pregnancy.
