Share your 'One Thing'!

Share your 'One Thing'!

Following our recent series 'One Thing Sunday', we would like to continue to celebrate and share how God is at work in each of us.

So, with that in mind, we would like to invite you to
share your One Thing, as a cardboard testimony!

We would like to gather a whole bunch of our 'One Things', and make a montage video of all the things God is doing in our church family.

We will be sharing the video on Sunday, September 20 so please send us your contributions by September 16.

How to take part:

1) Write down One Thing you personally know to be true, that God has taught you over the years - write it clearly on a whiteboard, piece of paper or cardboard. 10 words max.

2) Take a picture or a short video clip of you holding your sign - no speaking, please! Visuals only.

3) Send your picture or video to office@lambrick.com

For Parents and Caregivers

For Parents and Caregivers

If you are a parent or a caregiver - perhaps you have little ones going back to school this week, perhaps this summer has felt long and tiring - know that your church family loves you and we are praying for you and cheering you on.

If you can, grab a cuppa, and check out these resources - we hope you find them encouraging and helpful.

Managing Failure and Disappointment with Kids and Teens - Rachel Turner
With so much newness to adapt to, it can be easy for children to feel that they are failing. And with so much extra to deal with, it can be easy for parents to feel a sense of failure too! In this talk, Rachel Turner practically outlines some ways to help kids deal with failure and disappointment, and how as adults we can model how to turn to God in moments where we feel ashamed.

Leaning on the Father
This resource is intended for parents and caregivers of children or adults with additional needs - however, the need to take a moment to Breathe and Lean on the Father can feel relevant to many of us in these days.

Song of the Week · Zoë's Pick!

Nothing I hold on to · United Pursuit

We invited Zoë, our new Kid's Intern, to choose a song that was meaningful to her.

"I lean not on my own understanding
My life is in the hands of The Maker of heaven

I give it all to You, God
Trusting that You'll make something beautiful out of me."
