September 30, 2021 marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.

As an outward sign of inner lamenting and support of those harmed by Canada's residential school system, we invite you to wear an orange shirt to our Sunday service this coming Sunday, September 26.

We would also like to invite you to join the Lambrick staff team at the Xe xe Smun' eem-Victoria Orange Shirt Day: Every Child Matters Ceremony on Thursday, September 30 from noon to 2:30 p.m. in Centennial Square.
