We ask that you continue to pray for our church in these days. Bottles 4 Hope · Victoria Pregnancy Centre
The Victoria Pregnancy Centre offer a safe place for people experiencing an unplanned pregnancy to ask questions and access support. They offer childbirth education classes, practical resources, post partum support and more. “Bottles 4 Hope” is the Victoria Pregnancy Centre's annual fund raising campaign, where individuals take a bottle home on Mother's Day, and fill it with their donation. The bottle is then returned to the church on Father’s Day. The Bottles 4 Hope campaign generates a significant percentage of the annual donations received by the Victoria Pregnancy Centre. This year, the Bottles 4 Hope Campaign is happening virtually. If you are able, please consider donating to the work of the Victoria Pregnancy Centre, using the link below. A tax receipt will be issued for donations over $20.00. For more infomation visit:

A Dialogue on Women in Leadership from Saanichton Bible Fellowship
You might be aware that, after a season of congregational conversation and study, the Elders of SBF (Lambrick's sister church in Saanichton) recently made the decision to open the door to women serving alongside of men on the Board of Elders (they use the term Leadership Team). This has just recently been announced.
As a part of their congregational process, two of their elders prepared and presented a "dialogue on women in leadership" - that explores the two different interpretations on what the Bible says on the topic.
As we move toward our May 16th vote on this matter in the life of Lambrick, we share this video as a resource for better understanding something of the diversity that leads people to different conclusions on this matter. This dialogue also furthers the claim that this conversation is not primarily about biblical authority, but biblical interpretation.
We'd recommend watching this video with a friend or family member, and pausing after each section to discuss.

Happy Mother's Day!
Did you know that Mother's Day was started in the early twentieth century by Ann Jarvis? Ann wanted to honour her mother, who had been an activist for unity in the civil war, by running clubs for the mothers of soldiers on both sides. Here are some inspiring stories from mums in the UK, who found ways to join in God's mission in 2020. For more infomation visit:
